In the introduction to First Aid Plus course, we look at the different ways that you can keep yourself safe when dealing with an emergency from infections and other dangers. We also look at consent in first aid and taking vital siggns.

In the Cardiac Arrest and CPR section, we look at what CPR is and how to identify when it is needed and how to deliver it with adults, children and infants. We also look at handing over to a second rescuer, drowning and how to improve your CPR compressions and breaths. Finally, we introduce what an AED is and how it can help a patient in cardiac arrest.

Heart Attack and Strokes are a vital skill to learn as they contribute to a lot of deaths every year. In this section, we look at how to identify these conditions and what first aid you need to offer to help them.

Dealing with coking is a common condition that you may need to help with and treatment can be very effective. In this section, we look at how to recognise choking and how to treat choking in adults, children and infants.

Controlling bleeding is fairly straightforward and vital to avoid a patient losing too much blood. In this section, we look at different types of injury and how to deliver first aid. We also look at the healing process to understand what happens to a wound as it heals.

In the summary section, we first look at Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and then we look at the final stages of completing your course and how you take your test then access your digital completion certificate.
